Brazil nut oil (BertholletiaexcelsaHBK), is an excellent source of unsaturated essential fatty acids, mainlylinoleic acids (omega 6) and oleic (omega 9), necessary for the body and cannot be synthesized byit and must be taken through the daily diet or food supplements.
Brazil nut oil is an important source of vitamins and minerals such as magnesium, zinc, vitamin B1, vitamin E, selenium and also beta-sitosterol (phytosterol). Due to the antioxidant action of its components, helps fight against free radicals which accelerate aging process and are associated with certain diseases.
The supplementation with Brazil Nut Oil, combined with a balanced diet and healthy habits, assists in reducing the levels of total cholesterol, triglycerides and LDL cholesterol, contributing to the increase of the so-called good cholesterol (HDL).
